The picturesque coastal settlement of Ledge Point lies on the edge of the Indian Ocean north of Perth. This small crayfishing township is rapidly becoming a popular holiday location. There is a lovely safe swimming beach with first class facilities and a relaxed atmosphere.

Each year sailboarders come from all over the world to compete in the Ledge Point ocean race. The finishing point for the race is Lancelin, situated only 17 kilometres to the north.

The offshore reefs and sheltered waters in the area provide ideal conditions for a variety of water sports. Boating, surfskiing, dinghy sailing, swimming and, of course, windsurfing are popular pastimes for locals and visitors alike. Fishing is excellent and fish and crayfish can be caught in abundance.
